Uniquely positioned on the banks of the Jamieson River, Jamieson Caravan Park has been operating for over 70 years. Nestled in the Mt Buller and Alpine Region of Victoria, close to the confluence of the Goulburn and Jamieson rivers, the park provides picturesque holiday accommodation, right in the historic township of Jamieson. Set on six beautiful acres of park-like gardens, Jamieson Caravan Park is the ideal spot to relax with family or friends, offering a range of onsite cabins and powered or unpowered sites.
With the extreme weather and many bushfires burning throughout the Vic High Country, we took a change of pace and spent a few days in Jamieson at the beautiful Jamieson Caravan Park
Staying at a caravan park is a little out of the norm for us but we absolutely loved it!
Heaps of room for the kids to ride their bikes around, have a swim in the heated pool, wet a line in the river, hire a kayak and have a paddle on the river or just kick back around the campfire – there was heaps of things to do without even having to leave the park!
It was also a great place for us as a base to head up to Mt Terrible for the day which is only an hour away on some awesome low range tracks and on a clear day it’s always a spectacular view up at the hut.
We had a great stay and would highly recommend Jamieson Caravan Park as a base for your High Country Adventure!
